Abstract
Conversions to new religious denominations are happening among Roma all over Europe. This factsheet presents the main features of Romani religious conversions and new religiosity with a close focus on the Romanian case. Placing this case within the European and global contexts shows how new religious activism is at the meeting point between forces of globalisation and the intimate experiences of personhood and community.
