Abstract

A tanulmány a Szentírás első (Genezis) és utolsó (Jelenések) könyve közötti párhuzamokat vizsgálja, különös tekintettel az Éden-kert motívumaira és az új teremtés gondolatára. A szerző a motívumtörténet és az intertextualitás eszközeivel mutatja be a két könyv közötti összefüggéseket, rámutatva, hogy a Genezis és az Apokalipszis képvilága és tartalmi üzenete kölcsönösen gazdagítja egymást. A tanulmány kiemeli, hogy a Jelenések könyve nem gondolatmenetekkel, hanem képekkel dolgozik, és szimbólumvilágának különleges ereje van. A tanulmány négy fő motívumot vizsgál részletesen: Isten paradicsoma, az élet fája, a kígyó, valamint az új ég és új föld. | The study examines the parallels between the first and the last books of the Bible (Genesis and Revelation), with a special focus on motifs of the Garden of Eden and the idea of a new creation. The author uses the tools of motif history and intertextuality to illustrate connections between the two books, showing that the imagery and the content of Genesis and Apocalypse are mutually enriching. The paper underlines that Revelation is not a book of ideas but of images, and that its symbolic world has special power. The paper examines four main motifs in detail: the Paradise of God, the tree of life, the serpent and the new Heaven and new Earth.
