Abstract

The governmental center functioning as the Prime Minister’s background apparatus is, by its nature, tasked with political management, understood as the coordination and balancing of sectors, decision-making levels, and institutional actors. The Prime Minister’s background apparatus serves as an instrument of executive authority and, owing to its close proximity to the decision-maker, is characterized by continuous operational fine-tuning. The present analysis constitutes a continuation and follow-up to my article published in the 2024/2 issue of this journal. Within this framework, I review the institutional and functional adjustments introduced during the current government cycle and outline potential scenarios in the post-electoral period.
