Abstract

Tanulmányom témája a budapesti beltéri boulderező közösség testközpontú megközelítése. Kutatásom során elsősorban az alábbi kérdésre kerestem a választ: mikben nyilvánul meg a mászók kultúráját mélyen átjáró testen keresztül való érzékelés, testen keresztül való tanulás, testen keresztül való gondolkodás? A kutatást körülbelül kétéves terepmunkám alatt végzett résztvevő megfigyelésre, interjúkra, illetve a szikla- és sportmászás, az embodiment és a testfenomenológia szakirodalmára alapozom. A tanulmány az alábbi kérdéseket vizsgálja: a tér és a test viszonyát, az áramlás-élmény testi megélését, a falmászóutak szerepét, az útépítők szerepét, a mászók egyéni megoldásait, a határátlépéseket és az ebből fakadó nevetést, a tanulási folyamatokat, illetve a társadalmi nemek közötti különbségeket. | The following study dives into the anthropological research of the indoor bouldering community in Budapest with a body-centered approach. In my research, I primarily sought to answer the following question: in what ways does the embodied perception, learning, and thinking manifest in climbing culture? My research is based on approximately two years of fieldwork using participant observation and interviews, the scientific literature on rock and sport climbing, embodiment, and the phenomenology of the body. The study examines the following specific topics: the relationship between space and the body, the bodily experience of “flow”, the role of the climbing routes, the role of the route setters, climbers’ individual problem-solving methods, the transgressions and the laughter they evoke, the learning processes in the climbing gym, and the differences between genders.
