Abstract

A tanulmány a „keresztény nevelés” fogalmának kritikai újraértelmezésére vállalkozik, feltárva annak történetileg kialakult, mára mitizálódott jelentésrétegeit. A szerző rámutat, hogy a fogalom modern eredetű, és gyakran leszűkítő módon kapcsolódik intézményi, erkölcsi vagy teljesítményorientált értelmezésekhez. Ezzel szemben a bibliai horizont felől közelítve hangsúlyozza: a nevelés bibliai értelmének középpontjában nem normák közvetítése vagy mérhető eredmények állnak, hanem a személyes istenkapcsolat és Isten feltétel nélkül elfogadó szeretete. A tanulmány továbbá kritizálja a felnőttkép kivetítéséből származó gyermekképet, és a bibliai narratívák alapján arra a gyermekképre mutat rá, amely a személyes istenkapcsolat miatt a felnőttek számára is példaként állhat. Ez a fordított vallási szocializáció a keresztény nevelés egyik lényegi eleme. | The study undertakes a critical reinterpretation of the concept of “Christian education,” exploring its historically developed layers of meaning, which have since become mythologized. The author points out that the concept is of modern origin and is often narrowly associated with institutional, moral, or performance-oriented interpretations. In contrast, approaching the question from a biblical perspective, the author emphasizes that education in its biblical understanding is not centered on the transmission of norms or measurable results, but on a personal relationship with God and on God’s unconditional love. The study also criticizes the image of children derived from the projection of adult ideals, and, drawing on biblical narratives, highlights an image of children that, because of their personal relationship with God, can serve as an example even for adults. This reverse religious socialization is an essential element of Christian upbringing.
