Abstract

Hat évtizede Andorka Rudolf a hazai szegénységkutatás eredményeinek ismertetésével az egyháztagok felelősségét ébresztette. Bemutatta a társadalmi szegénység fogalmának komplexitását. Rámutatott, hogy a kisebbségi egyház tagjai is számos dolgot tehetnek a problémák megoldására – akár közvetlen segítséget nyújtva, akár közvetve a közgondolkodást befolyásolva. De még szerény körülmények között élőkként és jó szándékkal telve is számolnunk kell a gazdagság kísértésével. Amint azzal is, hogy a szeretet üres frázissá válik. Six decades ago, Rudolf Andorka awakened the responsibility of church members for their fellow humans by presenting the results of domestic poverty research. He presented the complexity of the concept of social poverty. He pointed out that even members of a minority church can do much to help the poor, either by providing direct help or indirectly by influencing public opinion. Yet even those living within modest means and full of good intentions must reckon with the temptation of wealth – and also with the fact that love can become no more than an empty phrase.
